Favorite Reports

Communiqué now offers a convenient way for you to organize your favorite reports. As of feature release 9 build 304, a favorites tab has been added to the dashboard giving you the capability to organize reports as you see fit. Commuique now ships with more than 200 standard reports with more on the way. As more reports are added, navigating the menus take more time. Organizing your most used reports as favorites provides quicker access to those reports. Organizing your reports are fairly easy and straightforward. You create report groups, and add reports to the group. A report can only be added once to a group, but you can add a report to any number of groups. There is a default group titled "Favorites" which can not be deleted so there is always at least one report group. The default group can be renamed but the star shaped icon remains the same.
Navigating Favorite Reports: To navigate to a favorite report perform the following: select the report from your favorites list then double click on the report. Commuique will automatically navigate to the selected report as if you selected the report from the main menu.
Report Groups: To create a new report group: right mouse click anywhere on the favorite reports window. A popup menu will display and select "New Group" from the menu. A dialog with appear and prompt you to enter a group name. Type any name you wish, and press the OK button. The new group now appears in the list. You can add as many groups as you like.
From the popup menu, you can also rename existing groups or delete them entirely. Deleting groups are a permanent action and can not be undone. Any reports assigned to deleted groups are removed. Deleting the default "Favorites" group does not delete the group itself, but removes any reports assigned to the group.
Favorite Reports: To assign a report to a report group: right mouse click anywhere on the favorite reports window. A popup menu will display and select "Add Report" from the menu. Once the "Favorite Reports" dialog appears, click on any of the tabs to view a list of reports to select. Select the desired report and press the "Apply" button to add the report to the selected group.
From the popup menu, you can remove reports assigned to a group by selecting the "Remove Report" menu item.
