To setup Communiqué to work with your SMTP server:

 

1.Open Communiqué.
2.Click on the Utilities tab located at the top of the ribbon bar.
3.Click on the Email Preferences button located in the Report Scheduling section of the Utilities tab.  The following dialog should appear.

4.Fill in all necessary fields to include the following information.

 

Name:  Enter the name of you would like to have appear in the From: field of outgoing messages.

Reply To:  Enter the full email address recipients will use to reply to.

Outbound Mail Server:  Outgoing mail server (SMTP):  for example smtp.gmail.com if you are sending email via Gmail.

User Name:  Enter the user name for the SMTP account you are using.

Password: Enter the email password for the SMTP account you are using.

Outbound Port:  If required, enter the port number for the SMTP server.

Use SSL Encryption:  If the SMTP server requires an encrypted connection (SSL), click the checkbox on to enable this feature.

 

Congratulations! You're done configuring Communiqué to send reports via email.  Be sure to click on "OK" to save and apply the changes you just entered.
